About Jane:

A postmenopausal grandmother relishing life’s twilight, Jane is a matriarch of a blended family with four grown children and three cherished grandsons.

Formerly a Pediatric Intensive Care and Women’s Operating Theatres Registered Nurse, Jane pivoted to midwifery at 26, distancing from institutionalized abuse. Her journey spanned 30 years as a homebirth midwife, nurturing life in urban and rural settings.

Jane imparts cycle wisdom through workshops and guides mothers and daughters in preparing for menstruation. Her work extends to sacred dimensions of pregnancy, birth, and menopause, healing feminine and masculine wounds. She carries the legacy of Shamanic Midwifery, founded the School of Shamanic Womancraft in 2009, and shares her teachings globally.
